Tracy Rocca’s second solo show is another pleasant surprise. These works evoke out of focus landscape photography. They have a simplistic quality that can at times be a weakness as well as a strength. It’s when you read the titles that you wonder if you’re being duped and that there’s not much more to them regarding the artists intention than you see in front of you. She’s also more adept at the smaller canvases. If she could scale up without loosing the power in those small canvases that would be something to behold. Definitely worth a visit.
